Founded in 1971, Lou Malnati’s is a family-owned chain celebrated for its buttery, flaky deep-dish crust and fresh, vine-ripened tomatoes. It was started by Lou Malnati, who had previously worked at Pizzeria Uno, and this original suburban location is still in operation. It is considered one of the “big four” of Chicago deep-dish.
