Freddy’s

Freddy’s has been deli, grocery store, and pizzeria under one Cicero roof since 1968. The prepared foods and sandwiches earn their keep, but the square, pan-style “pizza bread” slices are the signature, with traditional thin-crust pies alongside. The crew filmed a full sit-down with owner Giuseppe Quercia.

The room is part corner grocery, part lunch counter, part neighborhood ritual: Italian lemonade on the sign, bread and mortadella in the case, pizza coming out by the square. Order like you mean it.
