The pie.
Connie’s Pizza started in 1963 in a small storefront near this massive Archer and Normal location. It’s now a large chain, famous for its pan-style pizza which is a bit lighter and breadier than traditional deep-dish. Their pies also turn up at Chicago sporting events.
